This is one of the soundtrack cues that i completed for a psychological thriller, short. . . . . The director cut all music but liked it- it is a good piece for background to smooth out visual and dialogue for a darker genre.

Humans will be able to identify tones as low as 12hz. From 1000 hz the auditory system decreases. Natural and human produced infrasonic sounds is anywhere, all the time. The artistic idea was to use background noises, signal fidelity, harmonic distortion, low-frequency in order to foster a soundscape of infrasound that travels through space. Made for project that was never released. Think somebody might enjoy or use it.

I used the "the challenge. Wav" base (id: 561988) and made a simple melody with a synth, added effects and some beats. I used some fl studio effects: reverb, echo, distortion, equalization, amplify, low-fi effect, low-pass, drums and synthesizer. Amazing challenge as always, thanks badoink.

I didn't notice many good rain sounds on this site so i decided to leave my mic recording beside my window :p it's pretty short but enjoy. Recorded with sony hdr pj260v then edited with audacity.

So, in the process of rendering a mono version. . . I decided to tinker. There's high & low pass filtering as well as a 4 band eq applied. Seems to have significantly reduced the noise. F-18 airshow support event at 2012 australian f-1 grand prix race meeting. Field recording from within large crowds with ambiance of announcers, fans, helicopters etc in background. Recorded on tascam dr-05 with built-in microphones. Clipped in audacity but clean recording within.
